ROP YOUTH PASTORS

Christian & Molly Jennings

Pastor Christian and Molly Jennings serve as the ROP Youth Student Pastors. Pastor Christian, the son of Pastor Richard and Amy Jennings, has had a heart for God and the ministry since before he could walk. Growing up as a pastor’s son, he began serving in ministry long before he committed to full-time ministry. Molly began serving in ministry in her early high school years, and has committed for the long haul! Christian has been serving as ROP Youth’s Student Pastor since 2013, and Molly joined him in 2016 upon their marriage.

Christian and Molly are passionate about the community, especially investing in the next generation of leaders within the community. Their heart is to see students come to know Christ and live according to His destiny for each of them.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT  ROP YOUTH?

FUN: at ROP Youth we love to have fun!!! Free food, games, basketball, volleyball, fun music, giveaways, funny videos, team challenges and much more are all a part of what we do each week.

WORSHIP: It's not about just singing songs.... It's about an encounter with our Savior. We teach students the meaning of worship and that it's truly about thanking Jesus for what He's done for us and surrendering to His will for our lives.

WORD: We believe that the Word of God is alive and true. We teach the Word and how to apply it to your life each week. We believe that there is no better instruction manual for students' than the Bible, so we teach from it! We use creative elements, props, and videos in our messages to help the students dive into the message.

SMALL GROUPS: Our small groups recap the message given and also answers questions relating to the topic. We believe that small groups are a great way to create lasting relationships with other students. Small groups are based upon age and gender. We have seen that most of the time, students connect and make friends during small groups each week. Also, this is where many salvations occur! We believe in living in community and holding each other accountable, which is what small groups are all about!

ROP YOUTH IS A SAFE PLACE FOR STUDENTS TO HANG OUT AND ENCOUNTER CHRIST!
